Acceptance of general sales conditions
The Buyer acknowledges having taken notice, at the time at which he fills out the order form or at which he makes a reservation, of the general sales conditions dispayed on the Bridgestone Shop and declares expressly accepting them without reserve.
The present general sales conditions govern the contractual relations between the Vendor and the Buyer, both parties accepting them without reserve. These general sales conditions will prevail any other condition on any other document, unless agreed beforehand, in writing by the Vendor.
The fact that one of the parties does not invoque at a certain time one or more of these general conditions against the other party does not imply the stopping of the rights that she has and does not exclude a later appeal to these conditions.
The nullity of one or more of the articles of these general sales conditions, prononced by a competent court, will not affect the validity of the other articles of these general sales conditions.

3. The Vendor will approve the order by sending the confirmation of the order to the electronic mailbox of the Buyer. The Vendor reserves the right to refuse any order of any Buyer. Every refusal will be communicated to the electronic mailbox of the Buyer within seven (7) days following the order.
4. The contract will be effective from the date of reception of the confirmation of the Vendor on the electronic mailbox of the Buyer.
5. To avoid any confusion, every electronic message is considered received by the recipient at the moment at which the message arrives in his mailbox. It is not necessary for the recipient to have effectively read the message for it to be considered as received.
6. The products proposed on the Bridgestone Shop remain the exclusive property of the Vendor until complete payment.
7. All products offered on the Bridgestone Shop are protected by the intellectual property rights such as but not limited to, Trademarks, the rights of drawings and designs . No product nor any part of a product may be reproduced in any form by any mean what-so-ever, to the exception of a preceding written permission granted by the Vendor.
8. All products offered on the Bridgestone Shop, are proposed to the extend that these products are in stock. The order of an article temporarily out of stock or not yet available, transforms automatically this product into a reservation unless the article has been discontinued, the article ordered is then cancelled from the order. Every cancelation will be communicated to the electronic mailbox of the Buyer within seven (7) days following the order.
9. The Vendor can not under any circumstance be held responsible for damages of any nature what-so-ever, wether material, immaterial or corporal, which could result of defective operation or defective usage of commercialized products. The same rules apply to any product modification resulting from the manufacturer.
The Buyer is responsible for checking that his electronic mailbox is operational. In case of defectiveness of his electronic mailbox, he will bear the responsibility of the consequences of the unsuccesfull execution of the contract.
The prices indicated in the Bridgestone Shop are unitary, expressed in Euro and include a VAT of twenty one percent (21%). When the expedition takes place within the European Community, the Vendor legally held responsible for applying twenty one percent (21%) VAT on the price of the articles as well as on the delivery costs. This is the applicable percentage in Belgium, country whitin which is hosted our site and also where the Vendor has its registered office. The Vendor does not apply VAT to the orders shipped outside of the European Community, in this precise case, the prices do not include local taxes or customs taxes that the Buyer would eventually have to pay at the arrival of the goods in his country.
The published prices can change at any time and without warning. The shipping costs are not included in the indicated prices displayed on the Bridgestone Shop (see delivery conditions).
The products selected by the Buyer will be shipped to him by Courrier for packages above 200 gr. And by Post for packages under 200 gr.
Courrier shipping is more expensive, but the products are delivered anywhere within less than a week. The delivery is followed and the products are insured, which is not the case for shipment by Post.
The costs inherent to the delivery are to be paid by the Buyer and are calculated according to the weight of the order and the destination. You will find a shipping cost table on our internet site at www.bridgestoneshop.com for information purposes only according to the country of the delivery and the weight of the order. Import taxes and various costs, in countries other than those of the European Community are to be paid by the Buyer.
The delivery delays are only indicative. Only in cases of contrary mandatory legal dispositions, the charges for loss or damage are not responsibilities of the Vendor. The Vendor is only responsible until the order is given to the Courrier.
For availability reasons, an order can be delivered in more than one time to the recipient. The Buyer will then only pay the delivery costs one time. If the Buyer wishes for delivery to two different places, he must place two (2) orders on the Bridgestone Shop , and pay the delivery costs inherent to each order. [No deliveries will be made to a mail box.]
The Vendor can not be held responsible for inexecution of his obligations in cases of stock outage, production stop, absolute necessity, disruption, total or partial strike especially in the postal services and transport means and/or communication, fire, flood.
The Buyer will be informed to his electronic mailbox, within seven (7) days following the occurrence of said obstacle. The Vendor will ask for a cancellation of the payment by credit card, and this within seven (7) days following the occurrence of said obstacle.
The parties agree that viruses or other faults result of a non-authorized access of the site must be considered as a case of absolute necessity.
If the Buyer is not satisfied by the products shipped, or if the Buyer wishes to exchange one or more products or if the Buyer wants to renounce to the purchase, he has the right to cancel his order within seven (7) days following the reception of the order (period of thought) by sending an official response to the electronic mailbox of the Vendor at sales@bridgestoneshop.com . In this case the Buyer commits himself to returning the order at his costs and at his risks to the Vendor on the day that follows the cancelation.
In the case that the Buyer wants to cancel his order before before he has received it, he can always send his request to the electronic mailbox of the Vendor at sales@bridgestoneshop.com and communicate his order number as well as the article(s) he wishes to cancel.
If, at that time, the Vendor has already shipped the order, the Buyer must return the items to the Vendor at his costs and at his risks at latest the day following his reception of the order.
If the Buyer has already paid his order, the Vendor will reimburse the Buyer within seven (7) days following the reception of the products returned to the Vendor and only if the items are returned under the conditions described in the Return policy.
After these deadlines, no product will be exchanged nor reimbursed by the Vendor.
In all cases, Bridgestone will only accept products that have never been used or worn. Furthermore, the articles must be returned and packed in their original packaging and original condition.
